Experiment Gone Right 🌸 | November 9, 2024

This Week's Highlight

This week's coding tutorial was surprisingly fun to make!

Why was it surprising? I guess because I was just experimenting by combining a few elements from my past tutorials, but the final result turned out really cool!

If you like an interactive sketch, I'd totally recommend checking it out. I used the faceMesh model from the ml5.js library in this tutorial.

What Inspires Me

3Blue1Brown by Grant Sanderson is one of my favorite Youtube channels that makes complex math concepts feel intuitive and visually engaging.

A big part of what makes Grant’s explanations so intuitive is the custom animations he created using Manim, a Python library he developed specifically for his videos. In his recent video, Grant takes us behind the scenes to show how he translates complex concepts into clear, visual storytelling, offering a glimpse of how technical skill and creativity can make learning truly engaging.

Feedback, Pretty Please!

I’ve recently released a few videos on physical computing, covering the basics like setup, blinking LEDs, and sensors. This 10-episode series will build towards a final project challenge, offering flexible foundational concepts to inspire your own creations.

I’d love to hear from you on what’s working and what could be improved—your insights will help shape the series! Any feedback is appreciated.

Until next week!
